Our Story
The Vienna Kaiserwalzer Orchestra – also known as the United Europe Orchestra – was founded in 2008 and initially focused on the works of the Viennese Classical period.
Since then, it has appeared in a variety of formations, ranging from smaller chamber ensembles to full symphonic settings. The orchestra is dedicated not only to the preservation of Viennese classical music and operetta, but also to the interpretation of works spanning from the Baroque era to contemporary compositions.
Renowned for its musical brilliance, the orchestra regularly performs alongside distinguished soloists such as Paul Badura-Skoda, Benjamin Schmid, and Natalia Ushakova, and collaborates with acclaimed conductors including Karolos Trikolidis, Johannes Wildner, and Ralf Kircher.
Over the past four years, the United Europe Orchestra has given around 800 concerts in Vienna, Lower Austria, and Styria, as well as internationally in cities such as Prague, Riga, Bratislava, and Nice.
MUSIKVEREIN
Workshops for conducting students as well as soloists (opera singers, pianists, and instrumentalists), together with concert performances, complement the activities of the symphony orchestra. Young conductors have the opportunity to rehearse both Viennese repertoire and the core classical literature with the orchestra.
