The main aim of the workshop:to stady Viennese performing style
using the main conducting principles to develop your conducting scale in various styles and research the individual way to music expression.
The workshop is suitable for advanced conducting students and professional conductors.
Less experienced conductors can take part in the workshop like Semi-active participants,work with a big professional orchestra, it will give you big emotional satisfaction and the new impulse to continue your professional career.
Grundinformationen
Each active participant will:
have 100 minutes of podium time with the United Europe Orchester, conduct a dress rehearsal and the final concert, attend all meetings, classes, and rehearsal.
Conductors are expected to purchase and study their scores before the start of the masterclass workshop. It is important that you listen to the pieces and prepare them as much as possible to gain maximum benefits from the workshop. The final concert will be held August 28, 2025 in the Saal Salon BankAustria” Vienna.

A deposit of €500 is required to secure your place.
Active participant fee includes:
conducting the United Europe Orchester for at least 100 minutes, recorded orchestra rehearsals and the final concert, participation in all meetings, classes, rehearsals, and the final concert.
Semi-active participant fee entitles to:
45 minutes of podium time, participation in all meetings, classes, rehearsals, and the final concert.

Maestro GÜNTER NEUHOLD
wurde 1947 in Graz, Österreich, geboren. 1969 beendete er sein Dirigierstudium am der dortigen Hochschule für Musik.
Es folgten zwei Perfektionsjahre bei Franco Ferrara in Rom und bei Prof. Hans Swarowsky in Wien.
Von 1972 bis 1980 führten ihn Engagements an verschiedene Bühnen der Bundesrepublik Deutschland,
zuletzt nach Hannover und Dortmund, wo er als erster Kapellmeister tätig war.
Nachdem er aus verschiedenen internationalen Dirigentenwettbewerben als Preisträger hervorging (u. a. Florenz 1. Preis 1972;
San Remo – Marinuzzi, 1. Preis 1976; Wien – Swarowsky 2. Preis 1977; Salzburg – Böhm 1. Preis 1977; Mailand – Cantelli 3. Preis 1977,
begann er eine internationale Opern- und Konzertkarriere.
